Dogs probably need grooming before you shoot. If you want two
animals to "cuddle," try rubbing some food behind the ear of one of
them, then be prepared to shoot fast.
If you are shooting a group of puppies, kittens, or any small
animals, consider plunking them all in a basket to keep them
confined in one photographable area.
If you want to get the attention of an animal, be prepared to
startle it the instant before you shoot. Have someone directly
behind you call to it, whistle, ring a bell, shake a toy, or clap
hands. And shoot a lot and fast.
Happy Shooting!!!
